Yesterday we spoke with Katie Salids the author of several paranormal romance books including her newest and holiday themed, Halloween Fantasies. We all know vampires are erotic and sexual creatures. From Stoker's Dracula to modern day books such as these vampires are always the hottest creatures. Everyone knows that they crave blood but many forget their sexual need as well. The lust of blood and sex together makes the vampire the monster that he is. Many vampires are true to the monster nature while others have evolved into the romantic creatures of the night. Dante' is one of these later creatures.

In Halloween Fantasies, Katie tells the story of Dante' and his brother Trevor as they are on the hunt on Halloween. Dante's is "dressed" as a vampire while Trevor is Prince Charming; the costumes fit the personality. Sasha comes dressed as a vampire hunter and catches the eye of the one creature that she isn't sure she wants. As a result the hunter becomes the hunted.

The story is a quick and entertaining read for those that are wanting a way to escape real life for an hour or so. It is very erotic and even does a m/f/m storyline that I wasn't expecting and have never read before. I am not a reader or many erotic books and they are not my choice in reading but if this is your desire then Katie deserves up to you in a tasteful and fun way. Let's just say Sasha and the reader both will be very pleased by the end of the story.
The annual Halloween Fantasy Ball is touted as the sexiest party of the year. Sasha and her friend Angela are going along. They've booked hotel rooms at the venue so they can drink, and have every intention of making the most of it. When Sasha's original outfit gets ruined, she ends up going to the party as a vampire hunter.

She catches the eye of Dante - a real life creature of the night. He hasn't attended the ball in fancy dress, knowing that people will have no idea whether he's a real vampire or not. Somehow, though, Sasha senses that he is a real vampire. Before long, she's desperate to find out for sure. She wants to find out what it's like to be bitten by a vampire. And with Dante being so hot and all, she would quite like to go to bed with him, too.

Nervous, but determined to life out one of her life long fantasies, Sasha flirts with Dante and eventually invites him back to her room, where she prepares for the night of her life. Dante certainly doesn't disappoint, but after receiving a phone call, Dante admits to having a fantasy of his own - one that promises to give Sasha even more pleasure than she thought possible.

This is a seriously fun and sexy story. I loved the humour and realism throughout, which just made the scenario of there being 'real' vampires feel so much more believable. Good fun, well written and with smokin' sex scenes - Halloween Fantasies is one read I'd recommend to get you in the mood for this Samhain.

Dante and Trevor vampires, as well as brothers think that the Halloween Fantasy Ball is the perfect place to hunt. Dante is dressed as a vampire and Trevor as Prince Charming. So when Dante bumps into Sasha, who is by the way dressed as a vampire hunter, she isn't sure if he is a real vampire or just playing the part, the only thing she knows for sure is that he is totally hot, and she is attracted to him. She has always wanted to meet a real vampire, and sooner rather than later she realizes he is the real deal. Now that she has a real vampire interested in her what will she do with him?
Angela on the other hand doesn't like vampires so when Prince Charming err Trevor winds up with her will he be able to change her mind about vampires?
I love reading vampire stories, and this one was a very quick read.I chose to read it because of the Halloween feel. I found the opening of the book very funny, and both Sasha and Angela were very likeable characters, and the vampires well what can I say except that they were totally hot!
Although I would Caution that this was a very erotic story, much more erotic than most of the vampire stories I have read, I felt that it was written in a tasteful way, so again I would caution that because of the sexual content I would label it adult! If the eroticism doesn't bother you then I think you would enjoy this story, it flows well, and the characters were very rounded for such a short story. I like this authors writing style and hope to read more of her work!
I have read this book and absolutely loved it!!! I am telling everybody about this book and I am sure they will love it as much as I do as well as her other books!!

This is a great quick read. Sasha finds her perfect lover in Dante she has always wanted to be with a vampire and Dante is just the immortal lover to be up for the job. With Dante not only does she find the dominate lover she craves but a whole lot more. Great quick read.
I was in the mood for a quick and sexy vampire story. This one was perfect. It is a fun read with an interesting setting. Women who dream of having a vampire of their own will enjoy this ebook.

My favorite line was, "Well then, how about a toast to pretending?" Oh - gave me chills. I really hope Ms. Salidas writes a sequel involving Dante and Sasha.

I plan to check out House of Immortal Pleasures. I'm sure that one will be great as well.
